Use this inquiry to display all pertinent information about any document in the open documents file.
Inquiry information may be displayed in document number order. Information includes document number, type, register number, branch, memo, entry date and period, due date, discount due date, original amount and discount amount, current amount and discount amount, customer number, name, city, state and zip, ship-to number, name, city, state and zip, and all transaction information. The detailed transaction information includes transaction date, period, register number, payment amount, discount amount, adjustment amount and memo. For documents under dispute, the program also displays a ‘Disputed Document’ indicator and the dispute memo entered in AR Document Change F/M.
1. Access this program by choosing Accounts Receivable-->Inquiries-->Document Inquiry.
2. Enter the document number.
The inquiry only accepts valid, open document numbers.
3. You can press Enter (CR) to default to the next document in numerical order, press F2 to display the next document for the customer currently displayed.
4. When you are finished reviewing document information, press F4 or the End button to exit the Document Inquiry program.
