Inquiries such as Item Inquiry include close to 25 views. You can use the View Preferences option in each inquiry program quickly access the views you use most and hide those you don’t use at all.
View preferences are user- and program-specific, which means the preferences you set in Item Inquiry will not affect the View order in Customer Inquiry, nor will they affect another FACTS user running Item Inquiry.
The favorites set in View Preference are prioritized over Smart Views.
To set favorites:
1. Select Options-->View Preferences.
2. Choose the view in the list box and check Favorite.
3. Repeat the first two steps to set more views as favorites.
4. Choose OK when you are done to return to the main inquiry window.
The views you set as favorites appear at the top of the view menu and the beginning of the view bar in the order you select them.
To hide views:
1. Select Options-->View Preferences.
2. Choose a view in the list box and select Hide.
3. Repeat the first two steps to hide additional views.
4. Choose OK when you are done to return to the main inquiry window.
