Frozen Controls Parameter Procedure Matrix

Use this procedure matrix to enter all Frozen Controls Replenishment Parameter Maintenance information.

Freeze Order Point/Line Point/Order Quantity

(Optional) Select the Order Point checkbox to indicate you want to freeze the order point for the specified item in the specified warehouse. Then, enter the frozen order point value.
(Optional) Select the Line Point checkbox to indicate you want to freeze the line point for the specified item in the specified warehouse. Then, enter the frozen line point value.
(Optional) Select the Order Quantity checkbox to indicate you want to freeze the order quantity for the specified item in the specified warehouse. Then, enter the frozen order quantity value.
In the Expiration Date field specify the expiration date for the frozen rank if you have modified the scope of the parameter to narrow it from the company defaults.
(Optional) In the Memo field specify the optional memo for the frozen rank.
Select Save.
(Optional) You can specify additional replenishment parameters as needed.
Select Exit when you are done.

Freeze Rank

Select the Freeze Rank checkbox to indicate an item’s rank is frozen.
Enter the frozen rank value (A-E).
In the Expiration Date field specify the expiration date for the frozen rank if you have modified the scope of the parameter to narrow it from the company defaults if you have modified the scope of the parameter to narrow it from the company defaults.
(Optional) In the Memo field specify the optional memo for the frozen rank.
Select Save.
(Optional) You can specify additional replenishment parameters as needed.
Select Exit when you are done.

Freeze Lead Time

Select the Freeze Lead Time checkbox to indicate an item’s lead time is frozen.
Enter the frozen lead time value.
In the Expiration Date field specify the calendar date that Lead Time will become unfrozen.
(Optional) In the Memo field specify the optional short description about frozen lead time for display and reporting purposes.
Select Save.
(Optional) You can specify additional replenishment parameters as needed.
Select Exit when you are done.

Freeze Safety Stock

Select the Freeze Safety Stock checkbox to indicate an item’s safety stock is frozen. Then, enter the frozen safety stock value and specify whether the type is P-Percent or D-Days.
In the Expiration Date field specify the expiration date for the expiration date to remove the freeze if supplied.
(Optional) In the Memo field specify the optional memo for display and reporting purposes.
Select Save.
(Optional) You can specify additional replenishment parameters as needed.
Select Exit when you are done.
