Audited Changes Inquiry (SME017)

Use Audited Changes Inquiry to view changes to graphical maintenance files. This program is only available from graphical file maintenance programs for users who have the File Maintenance Audit checkbox in The Administrator Privileges section of the Security tab in User Code F/M.

Use the following fields to display Audited Changes Inquiry information:

1. Filename

Enter the file name for the inquiry. If the you are in a key fields in a graphical file maintenance program when selecting this option, the file name is pre-populated in the inquiry. If a record is loaded in the file maintenance the option is selected, the file and the specific key will be pre-populated, allowing the user to see the changes to that specific record. Press F2 to search for files currently being audited or F3 to search for files that were previously audited .  

2. File Key

Enter the file key.  

3. Filters

Select from the following filters to determine what information displays in the inquiry browser:
Additions to display fields added;
Changes to indicate you want to display fields with changes in the browser;
Field to display information for a specific field in the file.
Deletions to display deleted fields;
User to display information modified by a specific user.  

 

In the browser, the inquiry displays the type of field, the date and time the field was changed, the user making the change and the file key.

 

Select the Details button to display the Audited Changes Inquiry, Fields Changed (SME017.C) dialog to display details information about the changes for the fields displayed in the inquiry browser.
