Use Bulk Time Entry to enter a single time entry for a technician and equally divide that time across all of the service tickets for a document during Confirmation Entry or Direct Invoice Entry .
This program is accessible from the Options menu of the Confirmation Entry or Direct Invoice Entry programs in the Sales Orders module. You can select Options>Bulk Time Entry after you have completed line-item entry.
1. Technician
Enter the technician number. F2 allows a technician search.
2. GL Table
Enter the GL Table the service time will be posted to. Enter (CR) defaults to the table from Service Item F/M.
3. Contact
Enter the customer contact. Enter (CR) defaults to the AR customer contact.
4. Service Code Performed
Enter the service code which describes the service performed.
5. Beginning Date
Enter the beginning date of service. Enter (CR) defaults to the system date.
6. Beginning Time
Enter the beginning time of service. Enter (CR) defaults to the system time.
7. Ending Date
Enter the ending date of service. Enter (CR) defaults to the system date.
8. Ending Time
Enter the beginning time of service. Enter (CR) defaults to the system time.
9. Hours Charged
Enter the times to charge for the service. Enter (CR) defaults to the difference of the beginning date/time minus the ending date/time.
10. Rate
Specify the rate type.
You can select:
Toggle (highlight a piece of equipment in the browser and press Toggle) and indicate which pieces of equipment were serviced during that time.
All Items to indicate all pieces of equipment were serviced during that time.

None to indicate equipment was not serviced.
Distribute to spread the chargeable time evenly between the selected equipment.
You can add equipment or make any changes to allocated hours by highlighting a line in the browser and updating:
11. Meter
Enter the current meter reading at the time of service.
12. Charged
Enter the time to charge.
