Use the Period Descriptions Entry program to create and maintain the company period description records.
This record is entered when initially setting up the system and thereafter is maintained by the system. It determines the company's fiscal periods and their descriptions. Specify the description for each defined period.
To access this program, click General Ledger> File Maintenances>Infrequent File Maintenances>Period Descriptions Entry.
Click Field Descriptions for information on each field.
