Use this program to create and maintain priority codes used in the Service and Repair module. Priority codes can be entered in Service Order Entry to help staff schedule service tickets.
Specify a description for each priority code. Examples: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, etc. Specify the number of days that each priority description represents. This indicates the expected turnaround from the date of service order entry to the date of the technician visit. When you use priority codes in Service Order Ticket Entry, the number of days entered here is the default that appears in the ticket. For example, if you enter 4 days next to the priority code This Week it means the customer should expect a 4-day turnaround from the time the log the call to the time the technician arrives on site.
