Viewing reports on screen

The Viewer enables you to review report information on your terminal or screen. Viewers help you control paper by allowing you to preview a document before you print it.

Starting the viewer. Make sure you select viewer in Print Options>Properties or the template selected prints to the viewer. Run the report and click OK when the program displays a dialogue box that says End of Report.

Once you click OK, the viewer automatically opens.

Exiting the viewer. Select File>Exit from the menu bar.

Opens another document in the viewer.

Saves the document as a report file.

Saves the document as a PDF file.

Printing from the viewer. Click the Printer button in the menu bar or select File>Print from the menu. Select a printer and number of copies from the Print dialogue box.

Using the Find feature. To locate a specific date, description or other piece of information in a report, click the Find button or select Edit>Find from the menu bar.

Fit the report to the page width of the viewing screen.

Fit the report page to the window.

Magnifying the report. If the type appears too small on the screen, click the plus button or select View>Zoom In. To reduce magnification, keep clicking the minus button or select View>Zoom Out. You can also enter any Zoom percentage from 1 to 400%. You can also enter a specific page number in the Page field located in the menu bar
