Job Cost Estimating System

The Estimating system is an optional feature of the FACTS job cost system. The Estimating menu enables you to enter, correct, print, list and remove estimates. Estimates can also be converted into jobs automatically.

These programs are listed on the Job Cost Estimating menu.

Estimate Entry (JCE110), which is used to enter job estimates into the system. Estimates can be created for existing customers or prospects and include information on costs, prices, the person to whom the estimate was given and the person who created the estimate. If the customer accepts the estimate, FACTS can convert it to a job.

Use this program

Estimate Print (JCP110), which is used to print estimates to plain paper or pre-printed forms.

Estimate Listing (JCR110), which is used to generate a list of estimates on file in the system.

Estimate Removal (JCU110), which is used to remove old estimates from the system and estimates that have been converted to jobs.
