Use this program to create and maintain employee class records.
Employee classes can be used to group employees by type (office, management, warehouse), by location (main office, branch 1, etc.) or by any category determined by you. Many of the payroll reports can be printed by class. This allows for comparison of data by employee class.
If you decide not to utilize the employee class feature, only one class must be created. During entry of employees through the Employee F/M, all employees are assigned to the one existing class.
To create an employee class record, specify the Employee Class code and Description.
