Use the DOT Code F/M program to create and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Codes for hazardous materials.
All materials that the DOT deems hazardous must have a DOT Code assigned to it. For more information on hazardous materials and regulations, please refer to the DOT’s Hazardous Materials Guide.
Each DOT Code can be assigned to an unlimited number of items in Item F/M.
