Production Entry (MCE240)

How to

Use this program to enter production tickets for formulas along with finished item information.

The Production Entry screen consists of two sections. The upper portion of the screen is called the header portion where the formula number, quantity to be produced, etc. are entered. The lower portion is called the line-item portion where the finished items, number of units required, etc. are entered.

You have the option of changing, adding to, removing line-items from or deleting the production ticket at any time. Deleted production ticket numbers can be reused.

A number of additional features are available in the Production Entry program:

A formula search can be performed.

Ingredients for the formula can be displayed.

A finished item search can be performed.

Packaging items for the finished item can be displayed.

Memo lines can be entered.

A memo can be entered for each finished item.

Existing production planning for formulas can be displayed.

Production tickets are available for printing using the Production Ticket Print. Production tickets can later be confirmed and a register can be run to update on-hand quantities.
