Use this program to view the following information about the equipment entered into Service and Repair module Equipment information:
Specify the equipment code to inquire upon or press F2-Search to search.
Once an equipment record is displayed, use the up and down arrows to scroll through the equipment records. Specify a display code or use the left and right arrows to scroll through the display codes. The following display codes are available:
General displays general file information including equipment number, customer, site, item number, item description, location 1, location 2, model, manufacturer, primary serial number, secondary serial number, installation date, last service date, parts warranty date, and warranty expiration date.
Activity displays information including equipment number, customer, site, item number, item description, month to date calls, cost and service; year to date calls, cost and service; total calls, cost and service.
Orders displays information including equipment number, customer, site, item number, and item description. Service order details include ticket number and line number, symptom, status, priority, technician, entered date, scheduled date, time, and labor hours.
Past Invoices displays information including equipment number, customer, site, item number, and item description. Past invoice details include ticket number and line number, invoice number, date, amount, and reference number.
Preventative Maintenance displays information including equipment number, customer, site, item number, item description, preventative service, service description, frequency, price, last date, and next preventative maintenance.
Meter History displays information including equipment number, customer, site, item number, item description, date read, meter reading, invoice number, and meter charge.
Notes displays all notes recorded for this item. If no notes exists for the item displayed, the systems asks: Enter notes for this item? Specify No or Yes to indicate whether to enter notes for this item. As notes are entered, line numbers are assigned beginning with 010 and will automatically increment by 10. Specify text (up to 70 characters per line).
Service History displays service history including ticket details.
Parts History displays parts details, including invoice number, date, price, quantity, and PO reference.
Contracts and Proposals display where the equipment is used, effective and expiration dates, totals and references.
Once notes have been added, the following options become available:
# Changes a line number. Notes can be changed or deleted by entering the line number. Specify whether to Change or Delete. If D is entered, the line is deleted. If C is entered, enter text (up to 70 characters). During this change routine, F1 defaults to the currently displayed value of the field.
L Lists line numbers. A limited number of line numbers appear on the screen at anytime. The list function allows line numbers to be redisplayed. Select the beginning line number to list.
A Adds a line number. New line numbers can be added as needed.
M Moves a line number. Specify beginning line number to move. Specify ending line number to move. Specify line number where text will be moved (existing lines will be replaced) one line at a time, or blocks of lines can be moved.
D Deletes a line number. One line or several lines of notes can be deleted at any one time. Specify beginning and ending line numbers to delete. Specify YES to delete.
F4-Backup returns the prompt to the equipment prompt.
