Use these fields to set up and maintain the company SR Static Control parameters.
Main view
1. Parts Message
Specify the action to be performed at the time of Service Ticket Close if there are no repair parts issued. Options:
N - No message
W - Warning message only
R - Warning message and the user cannot close until Service Labor is entered.
2. Labor Message
Specify the action to be performed at the time of Service Ticket Close if there are no service labor issued. Options:
N - No message
W - Warning message only
R -Warning message and the user cannot close until Service Labor is entered.
3. YTD Roll Period
Specify the period year to date figures are rolled to the prior year.
4. Default Priority
Specify the default priority to be used in Service Ticket Entry.
5. Default Symptom
Specify the default symptom to be used in Service Ticket Entry.
6. Default Status
Specify the default status to be used in Service Ticket Entry.
7. Default Technician
Specify the default technician to be used in Service Ticket Entry.
8. Post RPR Part To SOPast
Specify Y or N to indicate whether the Daily Sales Register should post Repair Parts data to the Sales Order Past History (SOPAST) file.
9. Post To Sales Analysis
Specify N to indicate whether the Daily Sales Register should post Repair Parts and Service Labor data to Sales Analysis.
10. Default Overtime Ratio
Specify the default ratio for the technician’s overtime rate to regular rate. The regular billing and cost rate are multiplied by this number.
11. Default Holiday Ratio
Specify the default ratio for the technician’s holiday rate to regular rate. The regular billing and cost rate are multiplied by this number.
12. Warranty Warning
Specify the number of days advance warning for parts and labor warranty expiration. A message will be displayed this many days in advance of the expiration date.
13. Site Charge Item
Specify the item number to be used for a site charge. F1 defaults to Not Used.
14. Description Displayed
Specify whether to display Model description or Item description.
15. Use Model Creation
Indicate whether to allow use of model creation in entry programs.
Schedule view
1.-7. Sunday-Monday
Check the check boxes for each day of the week to create the default weekly schedule to apply to all technicians, if they are to be scheduled. Completing this screen acts as the ‘master’ switch within the system to activate the scheduling features. All times must be in 15 minute increments.
In the first two fields, specify the times for the first portion of the company work shift, up to the beginning of the meal break. In the last two fields, specify the times for the last portion of the company work shift, from to the end of the meal break to the end of the shift.
