Adobe® Systems is retiring the Flash Player interface by December 2020. CenPOS has released their HTML5 credit card interface. It is recommended that all FACTS customers using the CenPOS credit card suite within FACTS switch to the new HTML5 interface.
To affect this switch from the Flash interface to the HTML5 interface you must edit the Base URL prompt in Credit Card Control (SME957).
Make this change in Base URL prompt in Credit Card Control. Modify the current Flash URL from https://www.cenpos.net/posintegration/inforintegration/default.aspx to the new HTML5 URL https://www4.cenpos.net/POSIntegration/POSIntegration-HTML5/.
Flash Player retirement is expected by the end of 2019. It is recommended that you switch to the HTML5 CenPOS interface before the Flash CenPOS interface is retired.
Customers are required to run the latest version of the CenPOS Virtual Terminal Bridge, which is version 6.1.
If you have the Windows Firewall activated on the workstation running the Virtual Bridge software (v6.1 or greater) you must ensure these ports are open for both inbound and outbound traffic:
All workstations connecting to an EMV credit card terminal, through the CenPOS Virtual Bridge, must also have these ports open for both inbound and outbound traffic on the Windows Firewall settings:
If the ports are not configured as specified, open communication fails between these components.
