Inquiry preferences are similar to search preferences. This function lets you personalize certain inquiry functions that relate for finding records
Click Options>Inquiry Preferences from the menu bar to access preferences.
To reset preferences and filters to the system defaults, click Options>Reset to System Defaults.
Customizing column headers
The Display Choices window shows the column headers that are available for display. The column headers that actually appear and the order in which they appear are shown in the Current Information box.
To change the order in which column headers appear for the sort order selected:
1. Make sure you have the right sort order selected in the Inquiry Preferences window (Options>Inquiry Preferences).
2. Choose Column Headers.
3. Highlight the column header you want to move and choose the single left arrow button to move it to the Display Choices box.
3. In the Current Information box, select a column header and choose the single right arrow button. This inserts the column header you are moving above the one you selected.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the column headers are ordered the way you want them.
Use the double arrow buttons to move the entire list of column headers to one side or the other.
You can also lock a number of columns so they remain in place as you scroll horizontally in the browser.
