Use this program to obtain a listing of all items with associated substitute items. Substitute items are maintained through the Item F/M program.
Substitute items are displayed in the Order Entry Substitutes (SOC010) menu option and Substitutes Side Bars in Quote and Order Entry Suite (SOE210), Purchase Order Entry Suite (POE120), Transfer Entry Suite (ICE320), Manufacturing BOM and Formulation Suite (MC module), and Order, Purchase and Transfer Planning programs. Substitutes may be used if the item being ordered is out of stock and a substitute or replacement is offered.
For each item, the report provides Item and description, substitute items and descriptions, and Replacement setting. The total number of items reported is also listed.
To access this program, click Inventory Control>Reports & Prints >Substitute Item Listing.
