Using Reports

Use this program to print labels by zip code from the information stored in the customer file.

Label prints include

  • customer name

  • address

  • city, state and zip code

  • customer number (optional)

  • Contact 1 or 2 (optional)

 

Customer labels print on 11-1/2 by 15 inch paper and prints four (4) labels across. Ask your Affiliate for information on form sizes.

Ü If you would like to print an alignment (test print), select Print Options-->Alignment from the menu bar. Character users can enter A at the selection prompt.

Access this program by choosing Accounts Receivable-->Reports & Prints-->Customer Label Print.

To print Customer Labels:

First press F3 to access report fields.

1. Enter the order in which to print the report information. Options are Customer, Alpha, Salesperson/territory, Customer Class (K) and Zip Code order. The program defaults to C.

2. Select the beginning order choice to print. For instance, if you set the report to print in Alpha order, select the first alpha that should appear. Press F1 to default FIRST. Press F2 or image\find_shg.gif to search of customers, salespeople and classes.

3. Select the ending order choice to print. For instance, if you set the report to print in Alpha order, select the last alpha that should appear. Press F1 or image\ex_allrt_shg.gif to default to LAST. Press F2 or image\find_shg.gif to search of customers, salespeople and classes.

4. Indicate whether or not you want the report sorted by Zip Code. The program defaults to unselected; if you selected Zip Code order in the first field, the program skips this field.

5. Indicate whether to print Customer code, contact #1 or contact #2 on all labels. The program defaults to NONE.

6. Enter the number of labels to print per customer (1-99). The program defaults to 1.

7. Indicate whether to print labels Active or Inactive or ALL customers. The program defaults to ALL.

8. Enter the branch number to print. The entry must be a valid branch. The program defaults to the branch assigned to the terminal in Terminal F/M. Press F1 or image\all_shg.gif to default to ALL. Press F2 or image\find_shg.gif to search.

9. Select OK or press Enter (CR) to run the report.
