Using Reports

The MSDS On-Demand Print program is used only if the MSDS on-line print process is used. It enables you to print MSDS sheets, cover letters and summary sheets on demand.

You have three options:

If MSDS sheets for open SO documents or for a customer’s ship-to print, an optional cover letter will accompany the MSDS sheets. If MSDS sheets for open SO documents print, an MSDS sheet will print for every line item on the SO document that requires an MSDS sheet.

Field Descriptions

Use the following fields to print MSDS documents on demand:

1. Order

Enter whether to print MSDS sheets in S - SO document, C - customer ship-to or M - MSDS ID order. Press Enter (CR) to default to SO Document.

2. Document

This field only displays if you chose SO Document order. Enter the SO document number(s) (up to six digits) for which to print the MSDS sheets. Press Enter (CR) to end fields. Press F3 to back up one document number.

3. Customer

This field only displays if you chose Customer Ship-to order. Enter the customer number for which to print MSDS sheets. Press F2 to perform a search.

4. Ship-To

This field only displays if you chose Customer Ship-to order. Enter the ship-to for which the MSDS sheet is being printed. Press F2 to perform a search. Press Enter (CR) to default to same.

5. Number Of Copies

This field only displays if you chose MSDS ID order. Enter the number of copies (1-99) of each MSDS sheet to print. Press Enter (CR) to default to 1.

6. MSDS ID Print List

This window is displayed only if C or M is entered in Order. Enter the MSDS ID(s) to print.

F1 allows an item search. If an item is found that requires an MSDS sheet, the corresponding MSDS ID will display in the print list.

Press F2 to perform an MSDS ID search.

When all MSDS IDs have been entered, press F3 to end the entry process. You have the following options:

A

Adds an MSDS ID to list to print. Press F2 to search for a specific MSDS ID or F3 to search for an item. If item search is used during the ADD mode, the system determines whether a MSDS ID is associated with the item selected. If a valid MSDS ID is found, the system enters it automatically.

D

Deletes an MSDS ID. Enter the line number to delete.

L

Lists all MSDS IDs that are to be printed. Enter the beginning MSDS ID to list.

F3

Ends entries.
